moments in focus…

what’s in the distance…

Recently I created a flikr account, hmmmm not sure if I need it or not? Do you have one also? (how many accounts does a person need? i am also trying out twitter- ugh!) I am going to test it out for a bit and then decide. It is nice that one can upload to flikr and directly upload to WP.

  1. I do have a Flickr account, but it’s the free account, and they won’t let you upload any more than 200 photos! I guess if you want to constantly delete the older ones to add new ones, this may not be a problem. Not sure if I’ll really use it that much anymore – I’m too cheap right now to upgrade to the pro account!

    • Thanks Holly, it’s a bit fun, but a bit maddening at the same time to try and juggle 2-3 accounts. I agree with the $$$, I would rather upgrade WP before I upgraded other sites. -Kim

  2. I too have all three. It’s been really nice to have the Flickr and Twitter account as I take part in The Daily Shoot and they grab your image from your tweets. Both the Flickr and WP accounts are linked to my twitter, when I publish my WP it posts to Twitter but I do have to manually post my Flickr. It is what it is… :D

  3. I hear a lot of good things about Flickr – I’m still debating. I have so many passwords and online things to remember at this point!

I love the photo how you captured the fog rolling in.

    • Hi Jolene, first- i’m glad you like the picture :) next- I know what you mean about passwords! I have them all written down so because I never remember what goes with what. I have only posted once on flickr, we’ll see. -Kim

Yes, it is impossibly crazy to keep up with so many accounts: FB, flickr, 2 emails, wordpress, ArtFire….

I followed you on Flickr. Putting a Flickr widget on the side would make it easier.

Beautiful work. Love the fog rolling it.

    • thanks for the ‘like’ :)
I actually do have a flickr widget on the side, BUT it was not labeled flickr, thanks for pointing that out. I thought I was being clever just putting my flickr name on the widget, but when I looked at it after your comment I realized it would make more sense with flickr attached. so thanks salamander! -Kim
